Inorbit Cyberabad Zindabaad

Author: thewordjockey

Inorbit Mall, Cyberabad joined hands with Care India to support Girl Child Education from 6th- 8th July 2012. Interestingly the serious cause spread the message with double the intensity as the entire event was teamed up with colour and interesting visual. The day was a perfect compendium of videos that spelt out the message catering towards supporting Girl Child Education and had everyone stopping by to absorb it. Post the videos, the “Signature Campaign” was carried out. This encouraged customers to come forth and give bright and colourful thumb impressions on canvas, stating their support. Children, youngsters and elders came forward rendering their appreciation and support for the noble cause.

The three days saw around 500 customers of myriad age group and varied walks of life.  It was encouraging to see so many families and groups crowding around the venue, being social responsible citizens instead of merely whiling away time.Way to go Hyderabad…you rock!

More More Momos!

Author: thewordjockey

Junk the junk food junkies. Last week when the salt levels dwindled after an evening jog, I decided it was time for an evening hog. But what do you do about a craving ? Popping in a kebab is blasphemous. Not after sweating it out, nope. But then I recalled that new Momo joint -  Zomos, at Inorbit Mall in our Hyderabad. A few steamed dumplings wouldn’t hurt would it?

So the next stop – Zomos it was. A cutesy counter serving healthy Momos with that irrestible achaar. Blisssss. I picked up the ultimate healthy vegetarian Momo dish, which gave me 5 goodies with Schezwan chutney. The cheese mushroom Momo was not in my consideration set at all, neither the Paneer Momos for that turn. The carnivores have Tandoori chicken as a filling option.  For the not-so- health conscious tribe, they got oil fried and ghee fried options as well. Everything within 75 to 60 bucks a plate. And damn good to taste too.

So while I dug into the fleshy floury baglets, I noticed a chunk of the IT crowd of Hitech city hanging around, probably detoxing after all that decoding. Or maybe just gathering some steam after all. :)
Looks like Zomos has hit the chord right where it should with the younger junta. And why not?  Who doesn’t love a squishy soft round dumpling filled with yummy veggies or cheesey chow?

Who wants some more of Momo?
